I always loved Gygax's conception of the planes and I wish I'd gotten a mage high enough level to safely travel them. This video looks like a city in a plane of law to me.

ReplyDeleteThis is why I love Planescape. My low-level players went to Mechanus a few adventures back :-)

ReplyDeleteI actually dug the Inevitables from 3e, which were essentially metal golems from Mechanus sent out to hunt violators of the law down. But I only like them for one reason - I want to have one in my campaign that got crippled, landed against a tree, and 500 years later is half-engulfed by it, unable to do anything but cast spells at stray wildlife and answer question to the best of it's ability.
