A rare occurence, these pale, aquamarine amoebae seem to be the result of intense arcane energies. They are often the size of a cat and harmless if left alone. If any form of arcane magic is used on them, however, they will approach the caster and try to devour it. Arcane energy causes blue blobs to grow: they add a hit die for approximately every spell level cast at them. Sages are unsure if there is an upper limit to their growth.

What happens if you pour a potion onto them? Would it try to eat the bottle? Digest the person that dumped it? Simply drink/eat the liquid?
ReplyDeleteI think they might approach the potion pourer as a possible source of more food, although I don't have a clear idea on this and in-game would probably just make a reaction roll. I would think each potion on them would act as a spell level in regards to growth.
