...you've seen Inception? Being John Malkovich?

I really like this. I'd also like for people to be able to hide in somebody's memory palace, or pour right out of their ear at a moment's notice. To be trapped in someone's (Bobby Fischer's?) mental maze sounds like the ultimate Borgesian labyrinth, or the payoff ending of Calvino's Invisible Cities - in which Marco Polo (or Scheherezade) finally kidnaps Kublai Khan, by imprisoning the fascinated emperor in his remembered/invented Venice. So much better than all those lame stories where someone falls into a book.richardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13517340075234811323noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6446461178381374626.post-3009273281355549082011-10-03T11:42:00.047-07:002011-10-03T11:42:00.047-07:00Or, for a change of pace, you could just turn the ...Or, for a change of pace, you could just turn the mind of some big bad into a demi-plane dungeon. Probably best to not overuse though, as the PCs won't be able to (directly) take treasure out of such a dungeon (at least without some explanation). Though I suppose there are always things like new spells, treasure maps that could be "taken out". Actually, I really like this idea.Necropraxishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12716340801054739658noreply@blogger.com
