If it only lasts one round it's like a failed save. The context you need is that traditional wands are so uninteresting to me I've never offered them as treasure. With this little house rule, it seems much more interesting and my players may at least get a chance to use a wand of paralyzation, even if an unreliable one.

@Jensen: random encounters include a stampede of wolf-riding pigs above the dungeon you are currently in.

@Andy: sorry to mess with your joke but got to bin the spam.Telecanterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07238356788092725244noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6446461178381374626.post-5211263974355258722013-06-13T01:06:54.207-07:002013-06-13T01:06:54.207-07:00I like the extended fact check, but I'll not g...I like the extended fact check, but I'll not get a chance to use it if I'm spending all my time on an 'indoor golf simulator'!Andy Bartletthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06683770320671028815noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6446461178381374626.post-50434547498794844852013-06-12T22:31:19.516-07:002013-06-12T22:31:19.516-07:00I really like the Extended Stat Check, definitely ...I really like the Extended Stat Check, definitely going to try it for my current game.
Now I just need a collapsing ceiling...Jensanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16216604356936975761noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6446461178381374626.post-21640796004662021632013-06-12T13:15:34.629-07:002013-06-12T13:15:34.629-07:00Word Eater: <3
